Writing about the lives we inherit, the choices we make, and the people we become.

About

I'm a writer and MFA candidate interested in how people make sense of their lives and the experiences that shape them.

After returning to college as a nontraditional student, I earned a BA in Creative Writing and English and found my way back to a dream I'd carried since childhood.

This site is home to my writing, selected professional work, and the projects currently taking shape on my desk.

The Process

The Process is a memoir-in-progress about grief, faith, forgiveness, and learning to make peace with the gap between the life I imagined and the life I actually live. Through stories of loss, disappointment, healing, and unexpected grace, the book explores the difficult work of rebuilding after plans fall apart and grieving not only what was lost but also what never came to be. At its core, the book asks what happens when life doesn't go as planned and whether hope can survive on the other side.
